Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 January 2026.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. At Tervalogo we use them carefully and always under your control: no optional cookie is activated without your explicit consent.
2. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2, the technical standard that allows Google tools (Google Ads and Google Analytics 4) to adjust their behaviour based on the preferences you express. By default, all optional signals —ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage, and personalization_storage— are initialised in the "denied" state before any Google script is loaded. They are only updated to "granted" when you expressly authorise it from the banner or the preferences panel. In addition, we enable ads_data_redaction to reduce identifiable information in advertising requests while no consent exists, and url_passthrough so attribution can work anonymously.
3. Cookie categories
We distinguish five categories: necessary (always on, essential for the site to work), functionality (remembering language and basic preferences), analytics (aggregated usage stats), advertising (campaign measurement and relevant ads), and personalisation (content tailoring). The last four are optional and only activated with your consent.
4. How to manage your preferences
You can change your choice at any time from the bottom banner, which reappears if you clear the site's local storage. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Note that rejecting some categories may limit site features.
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are managed by third parties (for example, Google) that act as independent controllers of the data generated by those cookies. We recommend reviewing their policies to understand their practices in detail.
6. Duration
Each cookie's duration depends on its purpose: session cookies expire when the browser is closed, while persistent cookies remain for the period declared by the responsible party, with a 13-month maximum for optional cookies managed by Tervalogo.
7. Updates
This policy may be updated when we adopt new tools or when regulations require it. Any relevant change will be published on this page with the update date.
